A native of Lexington, Ky., who came to South Carolina shortly after graduating from the Michigan State University College of Law, Ms. LaFave has represented clients in both civil and criminal cases.
She began her career with the Richland County Public Defender’s office, defending people accused of crimes ranging from domestic violence charges to major offenses such as murder and armed robbery.
Represents: Defends premises liability and tort cases in state and federal courts, representing local and national insurers and retailers. Also represents a variety of corporate and individual clients.
